The marketing of aluminium ingots and semi-finished products manufactured within the group of which IMT Italia srl is part.

The group is now one of the main operators at European level in the recovery and recycling of aluminium scrap. A daily presence on the markets has allowed us to perceive the need of several big industrial groups to be provided with aluminium ingots at a pre-fixed price even for long periods, thus guaranteeing costs that are certain despite the enormous fluctuations that occur in this field.

Being able to rely on a long-standing supplier network and a consistent stock of materials, necessary also to guarantee a regular flow to its own production plants, the group can offer the same services to its customers too.

IMT ITALIA s.r.l. was founded in June 2002 for the trading of semi-finished aluminium products.

The company has its own industrial site in Ciserano (Bergamo) with a covered area of 5,000 square metres and infrastructures that consent rational storage, handling and packaging of the materials which can be identified and traced for every supply. The factory has its own instruments for analysing the materials and is authorised to issue the conformity certificates required by UNI standards. Only a few years after starting up, the company is an important reality in the sector, having already consolidated a sales volume of 30,000 tons/year and counting many important customers.

From 2011 the investment in a new melting furnace will allow the added production of 20,000 tons of ingots destined to expanding the IMT Italia market and providing already-acquired market shares with its own products.
